With her SOLO SHOW, October 7 – November 8th, Cape Breton Highlands

Sherry Park is making her mark in this world with international competitions and awards for her portraiture, to life drawing classes and meetup sessions for plein-air outings, and finally with the six-week residency she won at Cape Breton Highlands National Park the fall of 2019. This return to nature down east is the theme and focus of her show, Cape Breton Highlands which opens Wednesday, October 7 at the Headwaters Arts Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre.
Sherry is at the Headwaters Arts Gallery every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Thanksgiving Monday from October 7 – November 8, 2020. Her studio is located at the Alton Mill Arts Centre and where you find her on weekends when she is not sitting as docent for her own show.
With the fall scenery moving into its height, it is a perfect reason to head for those hills, to meet Sherry and enjoy learning about her newfound discoveries when she disproved that old adage, you can’t see the forest for those trees. On view in the Headwaters Arts Gallery is an extraordinary body of work from her residency in Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Headwaters Arts Gallery is open with the Alton Mill Arts Centre’s hours, Wednesday through Sundays and all holiday Mondays, from 10 -5 with ample parking and free admission to all galleries.
