Submitted by the Headwaters Arts with regards to the Artful Revival Festival that occurs September 16 – October 4.

Headwaters Arts’ board of directors, their esteemed sponsors, and the vibrant arts community across Ontario, welcome the public to enjoy three galleries of award-winning art at the Artful Revival Festival’s annual fall show and art sale.
This is a chance to join with a greater art community, share in the various events, and enjoy art from across the province. This festival is back with a strong message of resilience and hope showcasing 52 pieces of art selected by Steve Wilson, our juror and an internationally acclaimed artist in his own right. Some of Ontario’s best artists will be represented in these three galleries.
It is time to inspire and celebrate new beginnings with the assurance that the Gala Reception and Afternoon Fete are ticketed events with RSVP’s to maintain socially distanced protocols. The Alton Mill Arts Centre requires visitors to wear masks inside with clearly stated limits of people allowed in each artist’s studio, boutique shop, and gallery.
We are excited to offer private guided tours on select weekend afternoons with appointments available online or by calling the gallery.
The volunteer efforts with this festival represent well over a “month of Sundays” from Headwaters Arts board members and sponsors who know the importance of giving back to their local and regional communities. Recognition and much appreciation go to Ari Momeni, Chair of Special Events, for his leadership and vision, Regan Jane Hayward, Gallery Committee Chair, for the curation of The Artful Revival Exhibition with committee members, Marion Plaunt, Chair of Sponsorships, and Margi Taylor, Acting President, with Jordan Grant, Treasurer, for guidance, support, and ‘anchoring the vision’. The “Talking Heads” team will soon be hard at work doing social media postings with Connie Munson, Chair of Marketing & Communication.
For general information on the Headwaters Arts group of artists and the current shows at the Headwaters Arts Gallery, please call (519) 943-1149. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Sunday and holiday Mondays from 10 am to 5 pm.
Note – ALL Social Distancing Protocols Visibly Posted and Observed
