MISSISSAUGA RAMBLERS COME TO SHELBURNE!

Cricket is growing in Dufferin, and the Shelburne Gladiators are playing the Mississauga Ramblers this Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 1 pm. Josh MacEwen provides details on this after speaking to Anand Jagdeo, President of the Shelburne Cricket Club.

The Shelburne Cricket Club is hosting its first official game taking place at KTH Park, which is located at 197 Homestead Drive in Shelburne. Admission is free and open to the public. Bring a chair, some refreshments, and enjoy watching this sport that is growing in popularity within our community.

The Town of Shelburne’s Mayor Wade Mills and Deputy Mayor Steve Anderson will be addressing the audience and the teams at 12 pm, so be sure to get to KTH Park early. All social distancing and other COVID prevention guidelines are expected to be adhered to, and there will be a waiver to sign at the event to absolve the club and its executives of any responsibility.

We’re on the ground floor of something new in Dufferin County, and if developed properly, the sport of cricket could bring many advantages to our community. We look forward to providing future updates!
